combianation of a compound with another compound

steps :- place glass rod wet with ammonia solution close to thr mouth of a test tube containing concetrated hydrochloric aicd

observation :- whites fumes of ammonium chloride are formed

 

conculsion :- ammonia gas combines with hydrochloric acid to give ammonium chloride white fumes

ammonia + hydrochloric aicd ==> ammonium chloride
